Coffee cream filling
Combine 1 cup cream for whipping, 1 tablespoon instant coffee powder
and 1/2 cup sifted 10X (confectioners' powdered) sugar in a medium-size
bowl; beat until stiff.
Chocolate butter frosting
Melt 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter or margarine and 2 squares unsweetened chocolate in the top of a double boiler over hot, not boiling, water; cool slightly. Combine 2 cups sifted 10X (confectioner' powdered) sugar, 1/4 cup milk, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla in a medium-size bowl; slowly beat in chocolate mixure until frosting is smooth and easy to spread.
